H091 Haughton Road Works and Asphalt Strip

⁠⁠⁠The scope of the Works includes the construction of internal access road and asphalt strip around the fence at Haughton River Substation.

Separable Portion 01 - Substation Road Works - The scope of work comprises construction of a 5.0m wide road within the H091 Haughton River Substation. The road is approximately 225m long in two sections 150m + 75m. This substation is a live operational environment. A Principal Contractor has been appointed as detailed in Part 11 who will provide supervision of the works for safety reasons.

Separable Portion 02 - Asphalt Fence Strip - The scope of work for Separable Portion 2 comprises construction of a 1.40m wide road asphalt strip from the fence kerb at H091 Haughton River Substation. The total length of the asphalt strip is approximately 525m long. A Principal Contractor has been appointed as detailed in Part 11 who will provide supervision of the works for safety reasons

COMPULSORY SITE INSPECTION

A compulsory site inspection will be carried out on 3 July 2019, commencing at 11am. Other inspections may be arranged, at the discretion of Powerlink Queensland for Tenderers unable to attend this meeting. Prospective tenderers shall contact Peter Hy on telephone 07 3860 2250, to confirm their attendance. Failure by a Tenderer to attend a site inspection will render their tender non-conforming. Attendees are expected to be in PPE attire during site inspection (no jeans). All costs associated with attending the scope briefing and site inspection shall be borne by the Tenderer. PPE shall consist of high visibility clothing (cotton) with wrist to ankle coverage, Safety Helmet, Safety glasses and Safety Boots. Note Jeans are not acceptable onsite.
