Demolition of the Fire Damaged Building at 55 Parry Street Newcastle West. The building is a single storey brick veneer structure with corrugated iron roof. The roof structure has substantially collapsed.

The fire damaged ACM is deemed friable. The demolition of the fire damaged building is to be done under controlled asbestos conditions with all unsalvageable materials to be disposed of as asbestos waste. Asbestos remediation and demolition must be carried out by a Class A licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor and Licensed Demolition Contractor. A pre-tender meeting will not be held.
