Cessnock City Council is seeking a contractor for the replacement of the existing timber bridge at Bathurst Street, Sawyers Gully, NSW, under a construction-only contract.

Purpose

The project forms part of Council's commitment to renewing ageing infrastructure, improving structural capacity, enhancing road safety, and maintaining reliable connectivity for the local community.

Scope

The contractor will be responsible for the delivery of the following activities:

  • Pre-construction activities
  • Bridge demolition
  • Bridge construction
  • Roadworks and pavement stabilisation work
  • Finalisation and close-out
  • Other activities as per the tender documents
