E-Waste Infrastructure Upgrades - Civil Works

⁠⁠⁠The E-Waste Infrastructure Upgrades project involves the construction of a storage shed for E-Waste at each of the Alpine Shire Council's three transfer stations; Porepunkah, Mount Beauty and Myrtleford. E-Waste will be banned from landfill from the 1st July 2019 with The Victorian Government introducing a new waste management policy specifying how E-Waste shall be handled and stored.

To be able to comply with this new policy, funding has been made available to Victorian councils through Sustainability Victoria to upgrade E-waste management infrastructure.

Alpine Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the civil works associated with the new sheds including site preparation, concrete works, bollard installation and road reinstatement at each of the Alpine Shire Council's three Transfer Stations.
