E-Waste Infrastructure Upgrades - Storage Facilities

⁠⁠⁠The E-Waste Infrastructure Upgrades project involves the construction of a storage shed for E-Waste at each of the Alpine Shire Council's three transfer stations; Porepunkah, Mount Beauty and Myrtleford. E-Waste will be banned from landfill from the 1st July 2019 with The Victorian Government introducing a new waste management policy specifying how E-Waste shall be handled and stored.

To be able to comply with this new policy, funding has been made available to Victorian councils through Sustainability Victoria to upgrade E-waste management infrastructure.

Alpine Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the design, supply and installation of the E-Waste storage facility at each of the Alpine Shire Council's three Transfer Stations.
