Design Integration Specialist and Senior Solution Designers Needed for MDT

⁠⁠⁠The Office of the Chief Digital Officer (OCDO) are looking for people to join a multi-disciplinary team to support the successful implementation of a series of transformation projects across ACT government. These projects are complete projects in that they traverse the people, process, place and technology aspects of change. The ACT Government will undertake this work using an end to end design thinking methodology and focused on user experience using co-design methods.

As a design integration specialist or solution designer you will:
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Create, document, socialise and iterate end to end solution designs. This includes:
* identifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices
* identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour
* contributing to the costing of the end to end solution
* acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the project decision making process
* Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to gain agreement to the design
* Uphold the architectural governance principles and good implementation design for architectural deliverables
* Ensure effective design integration between individual projects to serve overall whole of government investment
* Ensure that the build, test and deployment of the solution remains faithful to the outcomes. This includes:
* taking responsibility for functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
* using data and process modelling techniques into the solution design create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software
* Contribute to the effective management of risks and issues associated with solution designs
* Champion Solution Design within the OCDO and across Directorates as the key activity to reimagine service delivery in the digital era to stakeholders
