Tender Description
Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified and independent persons to fill the role of Chairperson on Central Desert Regional Council's Audit & Risk Committee.
The Audit & Risk Committee provides independent assurance and assistance to Council on audit, compliance, risk management, control, governance and external accountability responsibilities.
The Independent Audit & Risk Committee member will be expected to have skills and experience in one of more of the following areas:
* finance;
* audit;
* risk management;
* general management; and/or
* public /or local government sector governance.
