Tender Description
Four chutes within Tom Price have been identified as causing excessive downtime and maintenance spend due to poor materials handling. Therefore, the chutes have been separated into HG, TLO fines and LG for a downtime analysis in order to reinstate them to the original condition.
Contract Scope of Work:
For each chute
* Review chute drawings and existing conveyor arrangements and speeds
* Send representative sample data to TUNRA to complete flowability tests
* 3D internal scan of existing chute for flow modelling
* External scan of transfer chute and local structure
* 3D modelling of existing chute and local structure
* Calculation (using DEM) of optimal chute profile to achieve desired flow with minimal wear
* 3D modelling of conceptual designs based on DEM results
* Stakeholder meeting to confirm design to proceed
* Structural checks of existing structure to support selected option
* Develop design and IFC drawings and prepare technical package
