⁠⁠⁠Expression of Interest EOI 2019/1E - Operation of the Community Recycling Centre (CRC) and Reuse Shop at the Awaba Waste Management Facility

Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified service providers to manage and operate Council's new Community Recycling Centre and Reuse Shop located within the Awaba Waste Management Facility. The proposed five-year contract, which could be well suited to social enterprises, will provide the community with convenient drop-off services for common household problem wastes and reusable items in good condition to divert these items from landfill.

EOI documents may be obtained by registering on the e-tendering portal at no cost.

A hard copy of the documents may be obtained at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point at a cost of $204.30.

EOI enquiries should be directed to Ben Lewis, the Project Officer via the online forum. Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box, by facsimile transmission to (02) 4958 7257, or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the EOI number, title, and closing date and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Councils Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point by the nominated time and date.

EOI close at 2.00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time AEST or Australian Eastern Daylight Time AEDT, whichever is applicable in NSW at the time of EOI close) on Tuesday, 9 July 2019 and submissions must be received in full prior to this time. The lowest or any EOI may not necessarily be accepted.

Late submissions are not accepted.
