Tender Description
Following the completion of Stages 1 and 2 of the expansion of the Latrobe Regional Hospital, the planning for $217 million Stage 3A expansion has commenced. As part of this project, the Hospital’s theatre complex will be expanded to include three new operating theatres and an additional 14 new medical and surgical beds for recovery. There will also be an expansion of the maternity unit including two new birthing suites, six new maternity beds and six special care nursery cots.
Six new intensive care unit beds, an additional emergency department bay, 64 new inpatient beds and shell space for a further 64 inpatient beds, new CSSD, Medical Imaging Unit and Pathology Unit are also included in this significant expansion of the Hospital.
The Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority (VHHSBA) is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced Principal Consultants, Building Services Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Relevant Building Surveyors to develop the design, prepare contract documentation and provide contract administration services for the delivery of this $217 million Stage 3A redevelopment of the Latrobe Regional Hospital.
