Tender Description
As an exhibition design, fabrication, and installation specialist you are invited to provide Council quotations for the development and supply of a multimedia interactive wall, forming a permanent natural history display at the Tweed Regional Museum.
The Natural History Wall project envisions permanent display infrastructure consisting of a new exhibition space that includes an introductory multimedia panel, large touch screen multimedia piece, showcases with displayed specimens, an overhead projections and a children’s interactive area. The Natural History Wall will provide visitors with a comprehensive introduction to the Shire’s natural heritage values and attractions, and information about how the unique landscape was formed.
Council has worked in collaboration with key content providers including representatives of the local Aboriginal community, Tweed Shire Council Natural Resources Management personnel with relevant specialist knowledge, and the Tweed Regional Museum staff, to produce design concept plans that are now ready to begin fabrication and installation.
