Tender Description
North East Water is intending to upgrade the Water Treatment System at Bellbridge, Victoria. The current plant utilises coagulation and flocculation, clarification, granular media filter, pH correction and chlorination and has a nominal capacity of 0.4ML per day.
The upgrade will include;
* Increasing the nominal capacity of the plant to 1.4ML per day.
* Backwash system
* Electrical and PLC upgrade; and
* Extend existing treatment plant building and upgrade perimeter fencing
North East Water is completing a preliminary design that will be issued as part of an RfT to the open market seeking to engage a Principal Contractor under a design and construct contract to deliver this project.
