Tender Description
To construct an intersection on Kywong-Howlong Road, incorporating AUL and BAR lanes, for future access road to the 16 lot expansion of the Howlong Industrial Estate, comprising the following:
Drainage:
* Traffic management controls implemented
* Saw cut road
* Installation of Box Culvert
* Back fill and reseal sawcut affected part of road
* Installation of headwalls
* Lay rock spalls
Intersection:
* Traffic management controls implemented
* Strip topsoil from site
* Import material to shape intersection.
* Preparation of road layers (Proof rolling & testing as required or as specified by superintendent)
* Sub-grade
* Sub-base
Base
* Wearing course (surface) prime and 2 coat seal
* Topsoil replaced on disturbed areas and stabilised.
The work location is approximately 3km east of the centre of the town of Howlong and 1500m north of the Riverina Highway in southern NSW.
