WorkCover conducted an open tender to establish the current RTW Services panel in September 2014 to transition from the pre-qualification process of appointing Suppliers, to a competitive panel arrangement. This effectively reduced the number of Suppliers under management for WorkCover and has allowed WorkCover to be more efficient in monitoring Supplier performance.
The current panel is due to expire on 22 February 2020 and there are no further options to extend. WorkCover have an ongoing need for these services, so a tender is being conducted to establish a new panel to provide services for an initial term of three years, with two one-year options to extend.
The objectives of this tender are to:
* review the RTW Services panel structure to ensure it is continuing to meet our needs;
* review and update service level standards;
* review and update categories of service; and
* ensure adequate coverage for all categories throughout Queensland.
WorkCover are seeking Suppliers to perform the following categories of service via the RTW Services panel for all regions within Queensland:
* Return to Work – same employer;
* Return to Work – new employer;
* Return to Work – psychological injury; and
* Return to Work – facilitation.
Offers must be lodged by 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Friday 6 September 2019.
