Council is seeking quotations to undertake the replacement of the Baradine Waste Water Vacuum System. There are a 49 vacuum pot valves and controllers to be replaced in the 2019/20 Financial Year. There are a further 58 to be replaced in coming years, when budget allows.
The replacement of 49 vacuum pot valves and controllers will avoid environmental and public health incidents and prevent sewer overflows.
SCOPE OF WORK
Inspections:
* Inspect each vacuum pot prior to corrective measures taking place
* List all items for replacement or corrective measures
* Collect end of line vacuum chart recordings
Vacuum valve and controller:
* Establish current conditions of the operating valve and controller
* Inspect all spares within the catchment and correct any wear issues required
* Inspect the vacuum valve casing internal and externally for wear conditions
Rebuilding process:
* Supply wear component replacement kits
* Supply vacuum pot component bracket kits, extra
* Supply vacuum pot hose and breather kits, extra
* Supply pipe work replacement kits if necessary, extra
TIMEFRAMES
The expected timeframe to undertake the replacement of 49 vacuum pot valves and controllers in Baradine is by the end of the 2019/20 Financial Year.
