IB Operations invites expressions of interest (EOI) from capable and experienced contractors and suppliers, who are safety focused and price competitive for this 662NSC1008 Bulk Earthworks - Access Roads and Infrastructure package.
Registrants are required to provide the following information as part of its EOI:
a. an ICN Gateway company profile, current in all material respects; andb. completed Preliminary Prequalification Information. IB Operations will use the EOIs to improve its understanding of market capability and interest. Suitable Registrants may be invited to submit a tender for this package 662NSC1008 Bulk Earthworks - Access Roads and Infrastructure.
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Scope of Works includes the provision of all resources, support facilities, supervision, labour, transportation, materials, construction plant and equipment, communications and other items necessary for the bulk earthworks associated with early works on the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project, including:
* upgrade to mine access road (45km);
* greenfields airport bulk earthworks and access road (10.3km);
* village bulk earthworks;
* Stage 1 concentrate and return water pipelines removal and disposal; and
* crushing and screening of rock for road and airport pavements.
The estimated bulk earthwork volumes are:
Footprint: 172 ha
Fill: 600,000 m3
Cut: 600,000 m3
Drill and Blast: 13,000 m3
Crushing and Screening: 250,000 m3
Australian Standards will apply to the Works. The Iron Magnetite Bridge Project, including this package 662NSC1008 Bulk Earthworks - Access Roads and Infrastructure is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope, may change at the IB Operations’ election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
