Tender Description
Council invites tenders for the provision, installation, and support of a common Local Government Business System (“LGBS”) to assist in achieving the system, process and target objectives as detailed in the tender documents.
Council seeks an integrated system including Finance (FIN), HR/Payroll (HRP), Land Information (LIS), Customer Request Management (CRM), Asset Management System (ASM), and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) as well as ongoing support for the installed LGBS system including providing software version updates and a Helpdesk service (the “LGBS Services”). If a Tenderer is successful and approved by Council Elected Members it is envisaged the implementation of the first stage of the selected solution will be done during the 2019/2020 financial year.
Tenderers are also invited for (optional) hosting of the LGBS solution as a fully maintained cloud and associated services. Council has been using a Cloud managed service for many years and seeks to minimise all local ICT infrastructure. This service also include the delivery and installation of desktop PC’s and laptops and installation (“Systems and Support Services”).
Councils’ objective is to install the new software and delivery infrastructure with minimal disruption to staff and daily operational activities and continue a successful relationship with the successful Tenderer in providing ongoing support services.
