RFQ - Rural Lands Study 2019

⁠⁠⁠Hornsby Shire Council has engaged a number of consultants to undertake studies across themes of Livability, Sustainability, Productivity and Infrastructure and Collaboration. The studies are intended to inform the preparation of a draft Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS).

Council invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake a Rural Lands Review for the Hornsby Local Government Area (LGA).

The purpose of the Rural Lands Study is to provide strategic direction for rural areas and inform preparation of the accelerated Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and the LSPS.

The Review will address 'Our Greater Sydney 2056 -North District Plan, 2018' (North District Plan) and the actions in Planning Priority N18: Better Managing Rural Areas. The Rural Lands Review will be consistent with the objective of this Planning Priority and set the strategic direction to ensure the environmental, social and economic values of rural areas are protected and enhanced.
