Establishment of Independent Review and Commissioning Agent Services Panel

⁠⁠⁠Monash University (Monash), established in 1958, is Australia's most internationalised university. Comprising five local campuses; an international campus in Malaysia, with centres in South Africa, India, China and Italy. Monash has over 78,000 student enrolments and over 17,000 staff.

Monash is ranked amongst the world's most prestigious universities and is a member of the "Group of Eight", an alliance of leading Australian universities recognised for their excellence in teaching and research. The University is home to 100 research centres and is involved with 19 cooperative research centres.

The Buildings and Property Division (BPD) is responsible for managing the built environment at Monash. To continue to deliver an excellent and sustainable campus environment, BPD seeks to appoint a suitably qualified panel of service providers that can deliver expert advice and undertake review and commissioning activities on specific projects.

This RFT would ensure that the selection of the panel is in line with the procurement framework of the University.

Respondents must be able to address the Mandatory Criteria before proceeding with this Tender, non - compliance will result in exclusion from the tender process.

Mandatory Criteria 1.
Respondent must have under employment a registered Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a member of Engineers Australia at the grade of Professional Engineer (MIESAuast) evidenced by providing Curriculum Vitae (CV) and certification from the accreditation authority.

Mandatory Criteria 2.
Respondents must be able to demonstrate experience acting as an independent commissioning agent of at least 5 years and in at least 3 (three) large or complex commercial projects that are rated by industry - recognized sustainability rating systems such as: Green Star, Passive House Institute, NABERS, LEED or an equivalent sustainability rating system.
