Asset Masterplan Consultant for Bendigo Kangan Institute

⁠⁠⁠Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI) is seeking to engage an Asset Master Plan Consultant comprised of an Integrated Team of Design, Master Planning Professionals to deliver the following:

Delivery of an Asset Master Plan that is consistent with the BI 2020 strategic vision. The Asset Masrer Plan will need to deliver a clear plan to deliver excellence across the all BKI campus' built environment.

A Master Plan that reduces the cost of delivery of education service by providing a roadmap to achieve the most efficient and flexible asset mix in the short medium and long term.

Provide an Asset Master Plan that identifies what Asset Mix will provide the best support for the BKI Service Delivery Model:
a) As an immediate & short term requirement with detailed options that can be implemented in the very short term including asset upgrades & refurbishments, asset rationalisation & disposal, potential commercial development options.
b) With a strategic vision for Asset Management for medium and long term service delivery demands and to do so in a financially responsible and sustainable manner.
c) Provides a management capability (or road map) for BKI to transform its assets in response to the increasing impact of technological innovation and future educational trends.

The Asset Master Plan must also consider the current significant projects underway or in planning development and any potential impact on the BKI Property Portfolio. It will need to provide commercial and transaction advice on any asset disposal, development or rationalisation.

The key focus of the Asset Master Plan, in setting out interrelating areas, processes and rules guiding future development will need to include:
* BKI's Strategic objectives
* Utilisation of assets
* Fragmented curriculum delivery
* Locations for specialisations and Centres of Excellence (CoE)
* Multiple administration centres
* Growth opportunities

The Asset Master Plan will need to provide an evidence-based framework to guide spatial decision making across all BKI campuses, with a focus on improving BKI's physical assets and campus experience.
