Tender Description
This is the final evaluation of the Building Resilient Communities in Mongolia project implemented since October 2015. The main goal of the program is to support MRCS to build resilient communities in Mongolia, a country that is prone to natural disasters and hazards. This evaluation aims to assess whether the project has been successful in;
* Reducing the impact of disasters on vulnerable communities through effective risk reduction and resilience programs
* Ensuring that communities have been empowered and built resilience through this program and;
* To make recommendations on how MRCS should proceed in the coming years to support and build community resilience
The evaluation will focus on the three expected outcomes of the project: Outcome 1: Increased capacity of Mongolian Red Cross Society (MRCS) to respond to emergencies and disasters; Outcome 2: Strengthened community resilience through risk mitigation activities across 21 provinces (winter shelter support and community-based fire-fighting team); Outcome 3: Improved capacity of MRCS at all levels
This evaluation aims at providing an overview of the progress against outcomes to Mongolian Red Cross Society and Australian Red Cross.
