Horizon Housing invites suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractors to express their interest to tender for the “turn-key” delivery of the new Roma Seniors Development in Roma QLD.

The proposed works include construction of 4-5 single storey townhouse units with a shared area, all site works, services, and hard and soft landscaping. All works are to be delivered under an Australian Standard Construction Contract and must comply with the requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC), Liveable Housing Design Guidelines (Platinum Standard), all relevant Australian Standards, manufacturer’s instructions and any specific state requirements.

Upon completion of the subsequent tender process, Horizon Housing wish to compare pricing between traditional in-situ methods of construction and modular/prefab construction, therefore Principal Contractors that specialise in either should express their interest.

Principal Contractors who wish to be considered for the project are required to lodge their EOI by completing and submitting an EOI – Form RSD by the 26th March, 2019 including all requested information with respect to the following;
* Full details of the Contractor’s corporate structure, main office location and resources;
* Proposed list of sub-contractors;
* Professional Indemnity Insurance;
* Public Liability Insurance;
* Queensland Workers’ Compensation Policy;
* Details of relevant projects undertaken within the last 5 years; and
* Details of a minimum of 3 Client referees able to provide on request a written reference as to the satisfactorily delivery of projects to that in the last 3 years.
