"To enable the successful delivery of services, DFAT's ICT Division (IMD) has an in-house finance team which includes procurement, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial support to IMD's ICT projects. IMD are continuing to work towards utilising improved finance technology to support the DFAT CIO.
As such, it is important for IMD to understand how its finance function is performing at both the process and strategy levels and what areas could be improved to ensure it is providing optimal financial services to IMD projects and DFAT's Finance Division. This includes understanding the maturity of the current operating model, processes and systems against best practice and benchmarks."
