Industry Briefing - Water and Wastewater Networks Capital Works Programs

⁠⁠⁠QUU are now inviting interested parties and industry participants to attend the Water and Wastewater Networks Capital Works Program Industry Briefing.

The anticipated scope of works under the Water program of works will include multi-disciplinary engineering design and construction of brownfield and greenfield infrastructure such as:
(a) Trunk water mains and catchments, specifically trunk main renewals, new trunk mains, valves and couplings, DMA creation, PRV’s and network flow meters;
(b) Reticulation water mains, specifically reactive renewal programs, proactive renewal programs, fire flow improvements and service improvements;
(c) Reservoirs, specifically renewals and new assets including: roofs and associated access and security equipment, concrete reservoir structures and associated electrical and control systems and equipment; and
(d) Facilities, specifically transfer and booster pump stations, dosing facilities and associated electrical and control systems and equipment.

The anticipated scope of works under the Wastewater program of works will include multi-disciplinary engineering design and construction of brownfield and greenfield infrastructure such as:
(a) Trunk sewer mains including new trunk sewer installations, tunnelled trunk sewer installations, trunk sewer rehabilitation, new sewer rising mains and rising main renewals;
(b) Reticulation sewer mains including creek crossing renewals, new reticulation mains, service and operational improvements and reticulation rehabilitation (sewer relining);
(c) Facilities including sewage pump station renewals and upgrades, new sewage pump stations, odour control and ventilation facilities, chemical dosing facilities and associated electrical and control systems equipment.

The purpose of this briefing is to provide an update on the release of the Water and Wastewater Networks Capital Works Program Invitation to Offer (ITO) to the market.
