Country SA PHN is one of 12 National Suicide Prevention Trial (NSPT) sites, bringing significant resources, activity and funding to areas of need in regional South Australia.
The trial is set in regions, to better respond to local needs and identify new learnings in relation to suicide prevention strategies. The NSPT trial will adopt a system-based approach to the delivery of suicide prevention services, targeting populations identified at a local level as 'at-risk'.
The LGA's involved in the trial include:
* Port Augusta
* Whyalla
* Port Pirie
* Port Lincoln
* Yorke Peninsula
CSAPHN are offering small grants of up to $20,000.00 excluding GST to Community Groups, Suicide Prevention Networks and non-government organisations located within the NSPT site regions.
The purpose of the suicide prevention small grants is to progress one or more of the following goals for suicide prevention within the CSAPHN National Suicide Prevention Trial site regions.
