Tender ID: 377229
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) currently maintains the ex-Linc Energy Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) research and development facility, referred to as ‘the Hopeland Site’, approximately 30km southeast of Chinchilla. The site includes a number of wells associated with these activities. DNRME has engaged geophysical services to gain an understanding of the status and condition of these wells, which has then informed tailored Plug and Abandonment (P&A) designs for each well.
DNRME is seeking a specialist contractor to provide safe and effective P&A of the wells which have been covered in the above work. Well Integrity reports, together with the P&A designs, will be available to inform the appropriate method required.
The work must be done in a manner that is compliant with the Queensland Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 (P&G Act) and in line with current industry standards and relevant codes of practice. The selected contractor shall provide all management, personnel, processes, materials, and equipment to complete the work.
Interested parties must submit an expression of interest not later than 18th Feb 2019, 2.00pm, complete with all information specified this request for Expression of Interest
