Tender Description
The works of this contract comprises the supply and installation of an Automatic Irrigation System for Galaxyland Regional Playspace, Belleview Drive, Sunbury (Melway 382 C8) as per Smart Water Projects drawing No. 1141-0.
Fiscal restraints may limit the installation. The system and schedule have therefore been divided into three sections:
1. Lawn Area A - stations 1 to 6 and mainline to gate valve south of station 6
2. Lawn Area B – stations 7 to 11 and remainder of ringmain
3. Garden Irrigation – stations 12 to 15
The work includes the supply and installation of:
* Locate services
* Connect to the existing water supply downstream of the 50mm irrigation backflow prevention device
* 20mm inverted bibcock
* Hunter ACC-99D Decoder controller with GSM modem in existing control cabinet
* Remove and dispose of existing controller
* Raise position of existing rain sensor
* 50mm master valve
* Flow sensor
* Pressure versus flow test after flow sensor
* Survey sprinkler and spray positions
* Bore under existing paths
* 75mm HDPE PN12.5 mainline with marker tape
* Isolating valves
* Decoder cable in conduit
* Solenoid valve assemblies
* Decoders
* Pressure test mainline
* Laterals 100PE PN10 minimum
* Sprinklers and articulated risers
* Top up trenches after 6 weeks
and all necessary equipment and labour to complete the installation of the irrigation system.
