Tender Description
Construct Eight Raised Humps in coloured concrete / Pedestrian Crossings At Carpenter/Church & Bay/Asling Streets Roundabouts in Brighton. Reconstruct kerb & channel and traffic islands in concrete at roundabouts and blue stone kerb & channel on Asling Street section. Reconstruct concrete footpath as per drawings. Construct Drainage pipes & pits as per drawings. Adjust pit & lids to new levels on path and road. Signage and linemarking as per drawings.
Asphalt resurfacing (Type V) and pavement reconstruction in front of new kerb & channel. Linemarking (thermoplastic), Signs as per drawings. The shortest period of construction is sought.
Traffic management based on Carpenter & Asling Streets closed for through traffic at roundabouts.
Council intends to release one addendum with detail of design, by 4 February 2019.
