The works is the replacement of the existing hydraulic lift with an MRL type traction lift, including all associated building and other services works required to complete the works.

The new traction lift is to fit within the lift well currently available and is required to provide very reliable service. The new lift is to be efficient, reliable, and have low power consumption. Any necessary changes to the existing structure or services (e.g. moving the location of the existing door openings, upgrading existing power supply, is to be included in the Tender price as part of the works).

The successful Supplier will be contracted to remove the existing lift and to design, manufacture, deliver to site, install, and commission and test required components for a complete replacement lift installation. This shall be in accordance with the RFQ attached Specification and Drawings.

The successful Supplier may be required to chair key stakeholder meetings including setting and managing agendas and minuting the meetings and distributing all correspondence to key stakeholders.
