Sewage Pump Station PS7A and Gravity Sewer Works

⁠⁠⁠Pump Station (PS) 7A is located on Howitt St and services properties within North Ward and Belgian Gardens. Its catchment comprises primarily residential (single dwellings and unit developments), but also several commercial facilities. This pump station has known capacity issues, having experienced multiple overflows over the last years.

PS 7A currently pumps sewage to PS 7B on Leichhardt Street through a DN225 rising main. Townsville City Council has identified the need for the upgrade of the pump station, its catchment gravity sewer system, and duplication of its rising main to rectify existing system capacity issues, and to cater for future growth in the catchment. The rising main has already been constructed and this tender includes below works:
* Construction of Sewage Pump Station 7A on Isley St
* Construction of Gravity Sewer

Townsville City Council invites interested parties to submit tender for the works as outlined in the Request for Tender, Technical Specification, Drawings, and Schedule of Lump Sum and other tender schedules.
