Council is calling for expressions of interest to lease land surrounding the Nhill Aerodrome. The area of land that will be subject to lease totals approximately 88.3 hectares (219 acres).

Under the lease, the land can be used for agricultural purposes such as:
* Cropping;
* Grazing for sheep; and
* Cutting Hay.

The lease will contain an initial five year term commencing 1 March 2019 concluding on 28 February 2024 with an additional 1 x 3 year option concluding on 28 February 2027.

Any person wanting to submit an Expression of Interest is required to provide their offer of yearly rent in writing before close of business on Friday 8 February 2019.

Expressions of Interest should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and posted to Hindmarsh Shire Council PO Box 250, Nhill, VIC, 3418, or emailed to info@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.

Council will assess all Expressions of Interest on a commercial basis.
