2019 Catchment Audit

⁠⁠⁠The catchment audit is a requirement of the Water NSW Act 2014 and occurs every three years. The next catchment audit report must be presented to the Minister for Primary Industries, Regional Water, Trade & Industry by 03 July 2020.

The Water NSW Act 2014 requires the Minister to appoint an auditor (a public authority or person) to conduct a catchment audit.The auditor must assess the state of the declared catchment, having regard to the catchment health indicators approved under s.41.The catchment health indictors were approved and published in the NSW Government gazette in December 2008, a technical report followed which outlined the methodology linked to the indicators.
