Major Road Projects Authority (MRPA) is seeking to procure Cost Estimating Services to support the delivery of its program of works (the Program). The opportunity to tender for this will be provided via a Request for Proposal process through an open tender. This is anticipated to be issued by the end of December 2018.
Background
MRPA was established on 1 July 2018 as an authority under the Major Transport Infrastructure Program (MTIP) to deliver a program of road projects across Victoria (Program). These projects vary in size and complexity from small arterial road duplications to large freeway projects located in both urban and rural Victoria. Cost Estimating Services (Services) will be required over various stages of development and/or delivery of the Program.
The Opportunity
The State is seeking to engage one or more service provider(s) to support the development and delivery of the Program with Cost Estimating Services via a Contract using a MD1 approved contract varied to suit MRPA (Contract). The Services may include any participants who can demonstrate compliance to the criteria which includes relevant experience on road projects.
Prequalification Requirements
All tenderers in submitting their offer must be able to demonstrate that they satisfy conflict of interest requirements, Supplier Code of Conduct, have lead engagements on road infrastructure projects with a value of at least $AUD20 million and hold insurance coverage for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity up to $20 million. Offers that do not comply with these conditions will not progress through the evaluation process.
