Request for Quotations - Community Hall Air Conditioning

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of approximately eight commercial reverse cycle split system (R/C) air-conditioning units to air-condition the Brewarrina Community Hall.

The preferred option is to supply 6 heavy duty split systems approx. 8kw , equidistant around the walls, with additional a/c units in the kitchen and rear of stage etc. However, Council will consider alternative options that may be proposed for R/C air conditioning that suppliers may suggest. The quotation must include the cost of a centrally located control panel with separate on off control switches for each unit.

Any externally mounted compression units and wiring etc needs to be all weather, bird and vermin proof. The internal units need to be mounted where agreed and at a height that can facilitate removal of filters, cleaning and servicing. Cabling and piping should, where reasonably practical, be concealed and /or located in heavy duty protected conduits. Included in the scope of works is the replacement of any electrical cabling, power boards or mains supply to facilitate the installation.

Completed quotations must include;
1. A detailed price for undertaking the work, separated into equipment and installation costs, with details of the cost of upgrades to power boards and associated electrical works;
2. The make, model and capacity of A/C units to be installed,
3. Relevant manufacturer’s warranty and location of nearest service agent for repairs and servicing;
4. At least two references for similar work undertaken.
