1. The Opportunity

Queenscliff Harbour Pty Ltd (QHPL) operates the harbour located at Queenscliff Victoria.

The harbour is located on the southern side of a channel linking the waters of Port Phillip to the east and Swan Bay to the west. At the western end of the channel there is an existing wharf (Fisherman's Wharf) formed by a steel sheet pile wall which has failed in places.

QHPL has commenced a project for the reconstruction of Fisherman's Wharf. The overall project broadly consists of demolition and/or removal of existing buildings and portions of the existing wharf, construction of the new wharf together with landscaping, services and car park.

The project will be implemented in four work packages as follows:
* WP-1 Demolition
* PP-1 Sheet Pile Wall Procurement (Principle Procurement)
* WP-2 Sheet Pile Wall and Concrete Deck Works (this tender)
* WP-3 Car Park and Landscaping

This Request for Tender is for work package WP-2, Sheet Pile Wall and Concrete Deck Works. The scope of this work package broadly consists of the following scope items:
* Taking receipt, unload and secure steel sheet pile wall and tie back elements;
* Demolish and remove existing failed sheet pile wall (only where required), all pin piles and concrete decking;
* Drive new sheet pile wall, anchor wall and install all tie back elements;
* Supply and install drainage, supply and place fill material behind wall where required;
* Supply and install all water and electrical services to the site;
* Supply and place reinforced concrete deck including preparation of sub-base;
* Form car park surface including supply and install kerbing and surface finish;
* Supply and install dinghy basin ramp and hinge for pontoon gangway ramp; and
* Supply and install timber launch ramp at slipway location.

Of the other three work packages, WP-1 has been awarded and is substantially complete, PP-1 has been tendered and is close to award, and WP-3 will be tendered separately shortly after this work package.
