Yarra Ranges Urban & Valley Aquatic/Integrated Services Venue Feasibility Studies & Concept Plans

⁠⁠⁠The Yarra Ranges Shire Council,(‘the Client’) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties for Lead Consultant for Yarra Ranges Urban & Valley Aquatic/Integrated Services Venue Feasibility Studies & Concept Plans (‘the Services’).

The outcome from these feasibility studies will form the basis for Council decision making on aquatic/integrated services facility location and components, aquatic infrastructure and service development and estimated recurrent and capital costs of such facilities in these (Urban and Valley) Yarra Ranges districts.

The Urban Aquatic/Integrated Services Feasibility Study and Concept Plan must begin first but Consultants are requested to propose how to integrate the methodology of both Urban and Valley District Feasibility Studies to streamline the work program to enable project efficiencies and time savings.

The investigation, assessment and recommendation of co-located services on the same preferred site as aquatic infrastructure will be a key outcome of this project.

Tenderers are advised that the consultancy start date is as soon as possible following tender award.

The timeframe for completion of the studies is summarised below:

Final Urban District Aquatic/Services Co-location Feasibility Study & Concept Plan with costed options - By the end of June 2019 or earlier.

Final Valley District Aquatic/Services Co-location Study & Concept Plan with costed options - By the end of August 2019 or earlier.

This is a Schedule of Rates contract with a lump sum component to be negotiated with the preferred tenderer prior to contract award. However, tenderers are required to develop an indicate lump sum cost breakdown that demonstrates the professional fees and any associated costs to cover all aspects of this project.
