Commercialisation of Extraction Technology to Produce Protein Powder from Distiller's Grain Sorghum

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to identify one or more organisations to commercialise extraction technology for the production of protein powder from distiller’s dried grain sorghum developed by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF), Queensland State Government.

The extraction technology is a ‘trade secret’ held by DAF. A provisional patent is being lodged to protect the extraction methodology.

The Objectives for this EOI are to:
1. Identify organisation(s) (or joint venture consortia) with the experience to manufacture, with the capital (or ability to raise the capital) for infrastructure development, and with access to global supply chanis to market a new product.
2. Identify organisations that also have the capability and capacity to commercialise a new product.
