Tender Description
The works generally comprise the civil works associated with the extension of the Tamworth Cemetery in Showground Road, Taminda. The works includes the construction of internal roadways and pedestrian paths, Lawn Beams, car parking areas (including integrated permeable parking within landscaped areas) and an upgrade of the Showground Road frontage to the site. The works will also include an upgrade of the open channel drainage system at the site and construction of additional stormwater and minor sewer infrastructure.
The facilities to be constructed as part of the civil works include a small open hall pavilion for hosting ceremonies and colonnade entrance features. Hard and soft landscaping works, access bridge construction, irrigation, lighting and columbarium wall construction are to be provided as a separate contract by others.
