Hume Global Learning Centre, Sunbury - Cultural Commissions Project

⁠⁠⁠Hume City Council is now seeking the services of a suitable public art consultant(s) to act as a Public Art Mentor to deliver and manage Stage 1 of the landmark Sunbury Cultural Commissions project.

The SCC project will increase the value and understanding of public art in Hume; by building the skillset of the region’s creative community, and through community engagement in the development of a new public artwork for the Hume Global Learning Centre – Sunbury (HGLCS).

The SCC project will be delivered in two stages in 2019-20.

This Request for Quote refers to Stage 1, in which a Public Art Mentor will deliver a series of creative masterclasses for selected Hume-based artists / creators prior to the opening of the HGLCS.

In mid-2019, a Public Art Mentor will be appointed (through a second RFQ process for Stage 2) to work with Council staff to select and commission a permanent site-specific public artwork for the newly open HGLCS.
