Tender Description
BHP is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from contractors capable of providing the design of surface storage facilities (waste dumps and low grade stockpiles) for underground waste rock and low grade ore.
Details on your organisational capacity, capability, and experience in delivering such services safely will be used to form a shortlist for tender.
The successful contractor, selected at the conclusion of this EOI and subsequent tender, will be capable of:
* Understand the extents and likelihood of acid forming from material on site to inform the design of storage facilities.
* Develop major design criteria for BFX and business as usual (BAU).
The contractor will be required to deliver the following:
* Sufficient engineering and design to illustrate options, identify risks and meet cost estimate accuracy requirements, which includes:
* End use of materials
* Location and rate of dump builds
* Associated pad design
* Consolidated Final Report and all supporting data.
At all times during the delivery of the services the contractor will be expected to adhere to BHP safety policies and standards including participation in BHPs field leadership program.
