BHP Brownfield Expansion (BFX) Project - Project Management Consultancy Contract for Underground Works

⁠⁠⁠BHP is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from contractors to manage the delivery of the scope for declines, materials handling, mining equipment, mine services and mine infrastructure involved in the BFX Project’s underground scope. The Project will be delivered through multiple works packages managed by the Integrated Owner’s Team (IOT). The IOT comprises personnel from the Owner’s Team, the PMC Contractor and other personnel as required.

The general scope envisaged to be supported by the PMC for the underground mine scope is generally described as follows:
* Additional underground equipment (jumbos, trucks)
* Additional surface decline(s)
* Upgrade to the Clark materials handling system including hoist
* New surface crushing and conveying facilities
* New surface workshops and buildings for fleet maintenance, personnel and logistics.
* Increase in Cement Aggregate Fill (CAF) plant capacity
* Additional surface and underground fuel facilities
* New underground workshop and magazine facilities
* Additional mine ventilation and refrigeration systems
* Expansion of existing dewatering and saline water systems
* Additional mine service dropper installations for power, water and compressed air
