Capital Improvements/Replacement 18/19 Residential Housing

⁠⁠⁠The briefing for the Newman residential properties will commence at 1pm on Wednesday, 31st October, 2018 at the Shire of East Pilbara Administration Office, cnr Kalgan and Newman Drives, Newman, WA, 6753.

The briefing for the Marble Bar and Nullagine residential properties will commence at 10am on Thursday, 1st November, 2018, at the Shire of East Pilbara Administration Office, Francis Street, Marble Bar.

Tenderers must register their interest in attending the non mandatory briefings, by contacting Dawn Ronchi, Contract and Procurement Officer on either telephone 08 9175 8000 or email sfo@eastpilbara.wa.gov.au no later than 4pm 22nd October, 2018. Tenderers must specify the properties they wish to attend, and for what reason (i.e to view a bathroom scheduled for upgrade, to measure windows for screens etc)

Note that all accommodation and travel costs incurred will be the full responsibility of the Tenderer. Tenderers will be required to make their own accommodation and travel arrangements.

Tenderers should note that the travel distance between Newman and Marble Bar (via Nullagine) is approximately 300kms (approximately 3 hours) one way, and road conditions can be rough in some places.

Tenderers must not attend any of the residential premises without first being given written permission by the Principal.

It is the Tenderers responsibility to assess the nature of the task to be undertaken to properly understand and price the works. Any claim for additional costs arising from the failure of the Tenderer to properly asses the site and the nature of the work will be rejected
