EOI - Waste Disposal Service Solutions

⁠⁠⁠Gympie Regional Council has issued this Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify qualified and interested parties (including Local Government) with capability to provide various facilities or approaches to waste management in support of the Gympie Regional Council future waste disposal options on behalf of local residents and businesses.

Waste management service providers are invited to respond with their capabilities to provide one or more potential service offerings including emerging and/or innovative technologies. Council Objectives for this EOI are to:
* Identify and inform of potential interested parties with the experience, financial and professional capability to support the Council’s current waste disposal planning efforts and requirements;
* Identify potential waste disposal facilities, local and regional markets, and associated procurement, technical, business and management issues; and
* Facilitate the feasibility assessment of the planned new disposal facility within the region.

The EOI Submission must concentrate on providing a disposal solution which will be environmentally sustainable, innovative and financially advantageous for the region. Gympie Regional Council landfill airspace will be filled in the next 2 to 3 years and the Gympie Region is in the process of developing the new disposal capacity within the region. Council is also in the process of constructing a Regional Waste Transfer Station to enable transfer of waste to a remote disposal or treatment site inside or outside the region.

EOI must be submitted electronically through the Queensland Government QTenders portal prior to the Closing Time at https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/qtenders
