Design Sub Consultants - Technology Innovation Complex & Ideas Market

⁠⁠⁠You are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to provide design sub-consultancy services for briefing, design and documentation, contract administration, and post occupancy services for the Technology Innovation Complex (TIC) and the Ideas Market to be constructed on the James Cook University Townsville Campus.

The Principal Design Consultancy Services for the TIC has now been procured via a three stage process comprising of an EOI, Request for Proposal in the form of a Design Competition (RFP), and presentation/interview. The successful proponent, Richard Kirk Architect, is now being engaged by JCU as the Principal Design Consultant (PDC).

JCU and the PDC will procure the sub-consultants through a two stage EOI and Tender process.

This EOI is the first stage of a two stage process comprising of EOI and Request for Tender (RFT). Shortlisted proponents formally notified in writing will be invited to participate in stage 2.

If two or three of the tenderers are so close on final evaluation, that it is difficult to identify a clear winner, JCU may elect to have presentations from these two or three proponents in order to make a decision.

Expressions of Interest and Requests for Tender will be evaluated by the Principal Design Consultant and James Cook University. Sub-consultants will be engaged directly with the PDC.
