Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably experienced building contractors to renovate aged care rooms at the Cooee Lodge Hostel.

Renovations of either two (2) or three (3) rooms are to be conducted concurrently to reduce the intrusion and disruption by the renovation works to the hostel residents, who are especially sensitive to noise and disruption.

The desired outcome is to add to the list of renovated hostel rooms and to continue the improvements to the level of comfort and care for hostel residents.

Cooee Lodge Retirement Village is located in a rural setting in close proximity to the CBD and Hospital. The Village is managed by Gilgandra Shire Council and offers a range of affordable accommodation types to cater for the elderly including:
* 40 bed Hostel
* 10 bed Special Care (Dementia) Wing
* Community Home Care Packages
* Self Care Villa Units
