Proposed Sale of Land - Corrong Court, Hopetoun

Yarriambiack Shire Council acting section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 proposed to sell Lot 3 on Plan of Subdivision 725805N, Volume 11584, Folio 517, located at 1 Corrong Court, Hopetoun.

It is Council’s intention to sell the land by the private treaty. In accordance with section 223 of the Act, any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal must do so in writing to the undersigned by no later than 5.00pm 25 September, 2018.

A person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that they wish to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, in support of the submission at a meeting of the Council or its Committee on a date, time and place to be determined by Council.

Submissions made under section 223 of the Act are not confidential and;

* Will be incorporated in full including any personal information into the agenda and minutes of any Council or committee meeting at which the mailer is considered;
* Will be available on Council’s website as part of any relevant Council or Committee agenda and minutes;
* Must be made available for public inspection in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to sell the land, part of the land or not to sell the land.
