Council will be delivering the Campbelltown Sports and Health Centre of Excellence.

This is a signature facility for the region and will provide an opportunity to bring together elite and community sport into the one precinct.

The vision for the Precinct is to promote sporting participation, education and health wellbeing in a community hub model.

This will be achieved by combining elite sports training facilities, administration and operational spaces with community spaces to deliver programs under a collaborative arrangement. This will involve government, private sector and community groups.

Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced organisations for the construction of the Campbelltown Sports and Health Centre of Excellence. Organisations must have meet the following mandatory criteria to be eligible to submit and EOI:
* minimum of three projects with an out turn cost in excess of $10M completed in the last three years or currently in progress
* Accreditation with the WH&S Accreditation Scheme
* Compliance with the Workplace Gender Equality Act (2012).
