Businesses in the Cairns and Hinterland region are invited to an information session to learn about local opportunities for the refurbishment of the Tully Hospital Emergency Department.

Queensland Health is committed to supporting local businesses and contractors wherever possible and it's important local contractors are aware of opportunities for work and how to pursue them.

The information session will be held at the Tully Hospital, 17 Bryant Street, Tully QLD 4854 from 1-2pm on Tuesday 11 September 2018.

A representative from the Department of State Development will be in attendance to assist local industry.

Tenders are planned to be called in October 2018 for a contractor who will refurbish the Emergency Department. Construction is expected to be under way by early 2019.
