In support of the University Strategy for 2017 - 2022, CSU developed a number of strategic roadmaps in 2017.

As part of the Major Systems Renewal Investigation, a business case was developed for the renewal of HRIS, Finance and related systems.

A vision was developed for HR and Finance systems, that highlights:
* Improved efficiency and automation of processes;
* A single back office platform and rationalised ecosystem;
* Agile and optimised integrations with other enterprise systems;
* Real-time analytics and flexible reporting.
