Fremantle Park is located at 4 and 6 Ellen Street, Fremantle and is occupied by Fremantle tennis club and Fremantle bowling club. It is the intention that the new facility will be occupied by the tennis and bowling club but also by Fremantle workers club. The new facility is a symmetrical two storey building with a colour bond roof, limestone faced walls, steel structure and aluminium windows and doors.
Requirement:
The scope of this project is to demolish the existing single storey tennis and bowling clubs to make way for a new 2 storey community sports facility that is compliant with the latest Building Code and Australian Standards.
Scope of Work:
The full scope of work is documented in detail in the Project Specifications, Finishes, colours schedule and drawings consisting of Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic.
The works in general consist of and include the following but is not limited to:
* Demolition of the existing bowling club and tennis club buildings.
* Removal of asbestos from the existing facilities to be demolished.
The new 2 storey facility includes but is not limited to the following:
* New colourbond roof
* Installation of new gutters, downpipes and overflows
* Natural faced limestone random block aluminium windows and doors
* Plasterboard and Ceiling tiles
* Exposed aggregate deck
* Internal Lift
* Male, Female, and accessible toilets and changing rooms
* Cafe / Kiosk
* Commercial Kitchen
* Cool Rooms
* Bar Area
* Meeting Rooms
* Dance areas with sprung floor
* General landscaping and paving
* Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Fire Services
* Grease Trap
* New security gate
